Productions, Festivals & Events

A multidisciplinary artist who embraces his unique identity as a fat, mad, disabled, and queer individual. His work predominantly centers on performance art and dance but extends beyond these mediums. Meek's creations aim to convey authentic stories, often delving into deeply evocative and intimate themes, believing that art should elicit a response and convey truths, even if they are not always joyful or pleasant.

As a contemporary and abstract dance artist, Meek embraces their fat body and approaches dance with curiosity, focusing on what they can do rather than their limitations. This mindset fosters a holistic and nonjudgmental connection with their body and movement, transforming dance into a powerful tool for healing and teaching, transcending mere expression to become an artform that breaks boundaries by simply existing.

Meek attended Dimensions in Dance from years three to eight, studying Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. They later pursued their passion for dance at Eastwood Collegiate, an arts-focused high school. Since then, Meek has focused on personal growth through peer mentorships and classes, preferring a predominantly self and peer-taught approach, intentionally distancing themselves from potentially harmful institutional learning methods.

music and soundscape artist

SH1VV3R, an “AI from 1995”, is unknown in the music world for its unconventional compositions that offer a cataclysmic experience of sounds and noise through computer emulated modular synths and and unconventional instruments, including smashing toasters, clashing cheese graters, and screaming. Occasionally, it produces something akin to a song but often records base sound noise for people to enjoy or probably not, whenever the fancy strikes it.
