Within my Skin is a collaborative structured improv workshop ending in a WIP performance taking place in the round. It asks whether we can come to know one another’s experiences that are held in our bodies without word, only touch.

Throughout the workshop we dissect the way that touch has been sexualized, stigmatized, and demonized. We examine the ways in which touch has been limited for some bodies and not for other and we explore how to listen with our bodies, reconnecting to movement and touch as a method of communication and storytelling while remaining conscious of one another’s needs throughout.
